Didier says, “Thank you!”

Eleven year old Didier walked with difficulty. While being prepared for his for surgery Didier thanked the staff, told them that he likes them and asked them to go easy on the sharp stabs. When asked if he was ready to go into surgery he said: “Let's go”. The CAMTA surgery lengthened the muscles in the back of his legs. Didier will be in a brace for 7 to 10 days and then intermittently and as needed for comfort. Didier will soon be able to stand with straighter legs and more ease.
