Where do the volunteers come from?
Dr. Heather Jackman, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon
and sister Allison Locke, Lay Person from Newfoundland
Most of the volunteers for the mission come from Edmonton where CAMTA was born. However, it has grown over the last 19 years and now there are volunteers from across Canada from British Columbia to Newfoundland. Here are photos of the volunteers at the airport on their way to Quito. The two from Newfoundland came a bit late because the air port was closed due to snow. Canadian weather rules!
