CAMTA teams will return to Ecuador in February / March of 2026. The mission will consist of two teams of about 50 members each and will perform at least 80 surgeries on adults and children. It will be our 23rd annual mission and fifteenth year with two groups. We hope to introduce a third SIGN Nail system to a trauma hospital in Ecuador and we are collecting medical equipment to donate to our host hospitals.
Get Involved
Come to Ecuador. We’re looking for pediatric and adult orthopedic surgeons, anesthetists, family medicine doctors, respiratory therapists, physiotherapists, O.R., recovery room and ward nurses, residents, nursing and medical students, lay people, general students, and translators. It’s not too early to apply for Mission 2026!
Volunteer your time. CAMTA depends on the generosity of many people who donate their time and skills to make each mission happen. If you have professional services, technical skills, or can donate a few hours of time, please contact Jackie Wiebe or Barb Moreau to see how you can help.
