Sheika was a CAMTA patient in 2019 and had one of her hips repaired. Due to an infection she had to wait until 2020 to have the other one done. One of our last patients before the pandemic, today she gets to have some of her hardware removed!!

Mary Klute has been her ward nurse through the years, aren’t they an adorable pair?

Why? Correcting Hip Displasia as a child allows our kiddos to be able to walk more normally and play with their peers. They don’t have as much pain and although at some point in their lives even with early intervention they may need a hip replacement.
