Local Support is SO Important

It’s a family event, complete with photobombs!

Years ago, Barb Moreau met Byron, a local jewelry artist, at a market in a park in Quito. One of the CAMTA team members asked if he would come to the hotel to do a show for us, which he did for a number of years until he got a storefront in 2014. He has even designed some very special one-of-a-kind custom pieces for our CAMTA team members.
Each year, he hosts a jewelry show for the CAMTA team at his store and then donates 10% of the proceeds back to CAMTA.

How we get to and from work and some of our dinners?

With the help of some amazing drivers that’s how! Denis, Freddy, Angel, Christian, Carlos, and Christian have been with us all week. Quito is in a winding valley with narrow roads, inclines, switchbacks and A LOT of traffic. Not for the faint of heart, they get us where we need to go safely and smoothly EVERY time.

They even go the extra mile to help us with our daily grocery shopping trip!
