Adult and Pediatric Surgeries are a Go!

Early this morning, the surgical team, lay team, nurses and admin staff took a beautiful sunny bus ride across town, changed into their scrubs and got ready to change some lives.

First Adult Case up and Moving

Meet Viktor, a local Billboard installer and DJ. At 45 years old, he has been unable to support his family of 4 due to his hip arthritis. His family makes ends meet with $225 a month. Victor was our first adult patient of the week, up and walking after 20 minutes on the ward!!


Later today or tomorrow he will walk with crutches and then up the staircase to discharge…talk about one tough human.
