Thanks to CAMTA, it’s easier to walk!

Nineteen year old, Nelson Padilla has been living with Cerebral Palsy (CP). He can only walk with a walker. CP is usually the result of brain injury and causes musculoskeletal manifestations that can get worse over time. There is no cure. Treatment includes physiotherapy and using mobility aids. For some, surgery will help to optimize mobility and function. Nelson first came to CAMTA when he was 12 years old. He came back at 14, 16 and now at 19 years of age. Nelson’s right toe had been painful and giving him trouble. The surgery that the CAMTA surgeons performed will make it easier for Nelson to walk.
