Team 1 Leaves to Quito

A warm welcome from our friends at NH Collections

Team One met at the Edmonton International Airport on 5 am with 61 hockey bags and crates full of medical supplies. Each team member collected one or two bags/crates and got onto our first flight to Houston. In Houston we had a 5 hour layover giving team members a chance to bond over a Texan-sized lunch. We arrived in Quito just after midnight and boarded the buses to our hotel. The CAMTA men graciously volunteered to make the extended trek to the hospital to drop off all our supplies and returned by 3:00 am. A long day for team one but everyone is still buzzing with excitement!
