Meet Digna: Our first adult patient of CAMTA 2018

Mairi Gordon (Adult R.R. Nurse), Digna, Justine Tolentino (Adult O.R. Nurse), & Dr. Juan Carlos Zabala (Local Surgeon) in pre-op ready to head to the operating room

This was Digna's second joint replacement surgery, having had both knees replaced six years earlier. Now, at 72 years of age, she arrived at our clinic and was scheduled for a total hip replacement. She has hopes of getting back to work at her food stand that she has owned and operated for 25 years. Cooking is her passion, and folks travel from surrounding cities to buy large pots of her soup. Digna was so grateful for CAMTA's help that she invited everyone to her stand for her special Seco de Chivo(an Ecuadorian stew). Digna's new hip will hopefully help her keep up with her nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
