Maria may be the most determined patient yet

Maria has suffered from constant hip pain for years but did not have the means to seek treatment. Her grandchildren discovered CAMTA online and encouraged her to attend our clinic. Maria's hip was replaced this morning, and by the early afternoon she was already asking to get up out of bed and walk. When she had walked fairly far from her room, several CAMTA team members brought her a chair and asked if she wanted to rest. Her response? She would only rest once she had walked all the way back to bed. Maria will be staying overnight with us, and will be looking to tackle the Stairs of Discharge tomorrow morning.
