Dulce came through and brightened everyone's day

Dulce is 15 months old and is the youngest of four siblings. She and her family live in Orellana Province – nearly 300 km away. Dulce's entire family pitched in to pay for bus fair and accommodations in Quito, just so she would be able to attend our clinic yesterday in hopes that Dulce can finally gain access to the clubfoot correction procedure she needs. Her mother named her Dulce – which means sweet or candy – because she constantly craved chocolate and sweets while pregnant with her. Everyone on the team agreed that her name is very fitting, as she is sweet as candy!
