CAMTA mourns a long-time supporter

The CAMTA Family was saddened to hear of the death of one of our earliest and long time supporters, Don Vaugeois of the St. Albert Rotary.
CAMTA members first met Don through a Rotary sponsored motorcycle road rally fundraiser in August 2004. CAMTA received a cheque for $10,315.00 that day. That cancelled cheque is still displayed on our office. It reminds us every day of people like Don who believed in CAMTA from the beginning, and have never stopped believing and helping.
Don worked hard at involving the St. Albert Rotary Club with CAMTA. He invited members of our group to several of their meetings and always made sure we were involved in the annual golf tourney, which was another big fundraiser that CAMTA benefited from over many years. Don was always proud to present our cheque to Marc Moreau at the tournament dinner.
We extend our heartfelt sympathy to Don's wife Annette and his daughters and grandchildren.
He will be missed.
