Maria

Maria was discharged from hospital today following surgery on Wednesday to release some tendons. Along with other mobility limitations, her Cerebral Palsy prevented her from sitting; she will soon be able to sit. Maria lives in Quito with her parents and two older siblings. In a tearful goodbye and thank you to CAMTA members, Maria's mother said that never before had this family seen their daughter treated with such love and equality.
