Mayfield Rotary makes generous donation

Earlier this month, CAMTA's Dr. Marc Moreau gave our supporters at Rotary Club of Edmonton Mayfield an update on the 2014 mission to Quito, Ecuador. His talk emphasized the importance of student volunteers on the CAMTA missions – how young people's experiences with CAMTA can lead to a larger awareness of the world and how they can contribute. The other speaker at the event was Chris Novak, a third year medical student, who received the Club's the first International Travel Scholarship for his mission to Mbarare, Uganda . Chris' comments on his experiences in Africa were an interesting affirmation of Marc's remarks.

Dr. Moreau, on behalf of CAMTA, was delighted to receive a $10,000 donation from the Mayfield Rotary. We truly appreciate the ongoing support of Rotary Club.
