When a surgery is over, the dirty instruments are rinsed in the Operating Room then sent for sterilization. CAMTA has a limited number of surgical instruments, making it necessary to have them cleaned and sterilized several times during the day. The instruments are washed twice, rinsed twice, and inspected for residual tissue before being taken to the Wrap Room. Here various surgical trays are prepared, wrapped and sterilized in preparation for the next surgery. 

It's hot, steamy work, but this team by turning the fan on full blast and singing. “Working on a Chain Gang” is a favourite ditty!
