Erika's Story (Part 2)

Two days after her surgery Erika is making an amazing recovery, considering that she had her hip replaced and her leg stretched by 4 cm

Erika working on her physio exercises with her mom Irene first thing in the morning.

 

Everyone is amazed at Erika's progress. Here she is getting the thumbs up from ward nurse Judy Chaffee

 

Physiotherapist Rachel Oates teaches Erika and her mom how to properly walk up the stairs with crutches. Erika has to walk up 5 flights of stairs to get to her apartment.

 

Erika is an extraordinary young lady. Two days after her surgery she is all smiles and ready to go home. Her mom and brother pick her up and CAMTA translator Francisco Gallardo sees her off.
