Ohhh ohhh — wet bags!!

It was a quiet week for CAMTA until Patricia e-mailed earlier this week to tell us that a storm had resulted in three of our hockey bags in storage in Quito getting wet.
She said that bags #31, 41 and PTTIII were affected by the heavy rain.
Fortunately — as luck would have it — the three bags have items that wouldn't be damaged by the moisture with the exception of bag 31 which has some electronic equipment. We'll ask Patricia to check on the condition of the items and hopefully all is well. Hockey bags are quite water resistant.
There was a packing bee last week and there is another in the next week. This will probably be the last one until after Christmas. The anesthesiologists are meeting on Thursday and we hope to finalize our drug and supplies order. The nurses will also be supplying me with their needs and we will order our supplies before Christmas — and that is in fact the earliest we have ever ordered anything before a mission.
