CAMTA receives donation of supplies!

Today, Mr. Eldon Gjesdal of Energy Efficient Homes brought a truck load of medical supplies to our warehouse. Mr. Gjesdal has done volunteer work in Mexico and frequently ships medical supplies there under the auspices of a charity called “Amigos”. Unfortunately the supplies he obtained recently were too late for the latest shipment so he offered CAMTA the choice of what might be useful. There were some medications and supplies that we can put to good use. The picture shows Eldon on the left and Mathew Moreau, a member of CAMTA and a participant for our February 2008 mission.
While we sorted the supplies, Heather Perl, Linda Lee Visscher and Anne Magee finalized a final surgical instrument order and reviewed supplies in the warehouse. Eileen Guilfoyle wrapped the last two major packs for the pediatric surgery. After Mr. Gjesdal left, I completed the inventory of the ward supplies.
THANKS to Eldon for the donation of the supplies. Good luck with your trip to Calgary with the rest!
