Eye of the tiger

Juan David, 27 years old, was confined to a wheel chair due to an undiagnosed bone disease which destroyed his hips at a young age. The surgical team performed a bilateral hip replacement and hours after his surgery Juan David walked for the first time in over two years! The physiotherapy team wanted to cheer Juan David as he took his first steps; choosing  “Eye of the Tiger” as the song to encourage him. Giving a smile of approval he said, “It is a universal song!”

 

The team helped stand him up and Juan David took his first steps in years, and everyone sang along with the chorus.
