The CAMTA families
Martha Reinoso reaches the top of the CAMTA staircase.
Martha Reinoso is the fourth member of her family to have had surgery with CAMTA. Her son Carlos had both hips replaced last week and is now home recuperating. Two of Carlos' aunts had hip replacements 17 years ago. One of the aunts has passed away. The second remains very active; she recently hiked up Cotopaxi!
Carlos and Natasha Dugas (Student Nurse) have some fun while getting some exercise. Natasha and Carlos are from week one!
Carmen came to visit the CAMTA team on clinic day to let everyone see how well she was doing. She brought a picture that her daughter had taken of her up on Cotopaxi.
Martha learns how to navigate the stairs with her crutches.
Martha was a friendly, happy patient to have on the ward; she often sang folk songs and children's songs to brighten up everyone's day. Not to be out done by her son, she showed everyone that she had some power poses as well.
