The two paediatric patients that you were introduced to in yesterday's blog wore one-of-a-kind dresses during their overnight stay in the hospital. These dresses were crafted and donated by Donna – a friend of Deb Chalupa (Adult Ward Nurse). Donna buys pillow cases with exciting designs and works some sewing magic to transform them into dresses that make the young girls feel special on their big day. Next year, Donna plans to make shorts for the young boys that visit CAMTA for medical treatment. Both Victoria and Dulce were doing well on their first day post-op and left the hospital this afternoon and started their journey back to their homes in Orellana.
