Sad News
The CAMTA team was incredibly sad to hear that one of our very special team members passed away last week. Consuelo Alvarez had traveled to Quito with CAMTA for the past seven years, offering her skills as a translator. She could usually be found sitting on the edge of a patient's bed, quietly explaining treatments and procedures, holding a hand, or reassuring a nervous parent or patient. Her gentle way and her huge heart will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to work with her in Ecuador. We extend our prayers and sympathy to Consuelo's family.
