Improving Quality of Life in the Elderly

Francisca is 76 years old and has come to the CAMTA clinic with her daughter, Rosa, in hopes of alleviating her severe left hip pain. This pain has made it very difficult for her to walk even when aided by a cane and to sleep comfortably. Adult Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Paul Leung examines the patient and determines Francisca is suffering from severe osteoarthritis and that a total hip replacement should be scheduled.
