Last Day of Mission 2015

A Day Around Quito!

With all the patients having been discharged and pack up complete, the Week 2 team getsSunday to discover Quito before boarding a flight back home at night.

Some team members spent the day at historical sites in the city of Quito, while many headed out to a catch a soccer game and a few went on a challenging high altitude hike at Cotopaxi, about 50 km south of Quito.

After an adventure filled day, the team gathers in the hotel lobby to say goodbyes to some of the team members who will be staying in Quito for a few extra days. It's hard to believe that it's time to go home so soon! The Week 2 mission has been a wonderful experience… looking forward to CAMTA's 15th mission in 2016!
