A Special Thank-You Note!
Forty-seven year old Rosario Velasquez underwent right hip surgery earlier in the week. She wrote a very touching and beautiful thank you letter to the team today before being discharged from the hospital.
Rosario's thank you note is translated in English below:
Dear CAMTA,
I, Rosario Velasquez, want to express my sincere and deepest gratitude for making the surgery of my hip possible. It is a blessing to have been able to receive something that I have been waiting for, for so long. Thank you for your help, your kindness and your patience. This surgery was so important to me, I want to send my blessings and tell you that there will always be a prayer for you all and that your labour of love is incredible. Helping so many people, you demonstrate that there are no barriers, frontiers, or limits and this is something that I will never forget.
You turned my life around and because of you I will be able to do the things I love the most. I promise to follow your recommendations and to be able to see you all next year.
May God guide the journey of each of you.
Thank you.
