Team Two's first day in the hospital

There was a lot of activity in the hospital today as Team One finished their cases and passed on helpful advice to Team Two. It was great to see the camaraderie between the two teams and the sheer dedication of all CAMTA members while they worked hard in their respective roles.

Student Jennifer Jiang and Medical Student Denis Joly work efficiently in getting the hockey bags organized, which brought medical supplies from Canada to Ecuador.

Jenn Kitzan and Cathy Moreau have much to do to prepare gift bags for patients post-surgery.

Respiratory Therapist Glenn Day comes into the Operating Room (OR) early to prepare the supplies needed for surgeries that will happen the very next day.

In the Pediatric OR, Pediatric/Adult Recovery Room (RR) Nurse Pauline Worsfold, Adult RR Nurse Erin Rezansoff, Pediatric RR Nurse Bev Runka, and Operating Room Technician Saison Demitor work hard at preparing and stocking supplies for surgery the next day.

Adult OR Nurse Cori Kalven and Pediatric OR Nurse Eileen Guilfoyle work hard unpacking supplies.

Adult OR Nurse Kathy Bonitz and Alyssa Chappell have much counting to do as they sort through all surgical gloves required in the upcoming days.

Careful attention was necessary while Operating Room Technician Angela Rogers and Pediatric OR Nurse Donna Brown prepare supplies for pediatric surgeries.
