Saint City Rotary Charity Golf Tournament
Golfers Geoffrey Moreau, Marc Moreau, Pat Shearer, Ken Shearer
Sandpiper Golf Course was the scene Thursday for the Saint City Rotary Club 5th Annual Charity Golf Classic – and CAMTA was one of the grateful recipients of a portion of the proceeds.
Golfers enjoyed a delicious breakfast before heading out for a sunny day of golf. Steak dinner and prizes followed, with Dr. Marc Moreau accepting Saint City Rotary's generous donation at the end of the evening.
Thanks to Eileen Guilfoyle, Dianne Cortez, Alyssa and Megan , CAMTA volunteers who pitched in to help make the tournament so much fun! At hole 1 Eileen and Megan asked the golfers to stand on one leg to make their drives. This was to simulate an orthopedic disability like those we treat in Ecuador. Diane and Alyssa were at another hole, hoping to spot a golfer making a hole-in-one.
A big thank you to Saint City Rotary for their continuing (since 2004!) support of our work in Ecuador.
