Week Two Clinic Day is Full of Kids!

Clinic day takes the full concentration of the entire team.  Over the course of one day, the Week Two team saw about 125 patients, about 75% of which were children.

Respiratory therapist Glenn Day helps to calm nerves by creating balloon animals for the kids.

This little guy came out of his follow-up exam in tears which rapidly disappeared when he was given his orange “giraffe”. He even managed a firm thumbs up!

Little Ronald Galves is very pleased with his green “perro” (dog) and Canadian flag!

 
As the long day winds down, a spontaneous game of “paperball” soccer starts up in the hallway.
