Dr. Moreau has made a tremendous impact locally, nationally and internationally throughout his more than 40-year career in pediatric orthopedics. His excellent work has made countless advancements in our understanding of the cause of scoliosis and the ways we can treat it. His ability as a researcher is equally impressive, garnering an amazing 183 research and travel grants, for a total of over $3.4 million. He also has an extensive list of publications, including 66 peer-reviewed research publications, 47 non-peer reviewed publications, 174 published conference proceedings and research abstracts. He’s also been an author on 93 research posters. And as founder and President of the international medical charity CAMTA (Canadian Association of Medical Teams Abroad), he spearheads an organization that has been responsible for more than 1,200 life-changing surgeries in Ecuador, directly benefiting more than 7,800 patients and family members.
