A Special Surprise

One of the Family Physicians on this week's team, Marni Wesner, came to Quito with a wonderful surprise for our pediatric patients. One of Dr. Wesner's patients back home in Edmonton, Wayne Pearson, handcrafts wooden push and pull car toys that make a wonderful recovery activity. Dr. Wesner gives one to every patient the morning after their surgery, and so far they've been a huge hit!
